Hello happy Saturday! I got up this morning and shortly after our power went out. How rude! Luckily Scott had already made some coffee so I just had a quiet morning. It wasn't out for too terribly long.
Trevor is feeling a little better today and went to go help Eric & his dad with moving. His dad is selling his house and moving near Eric & Melissa in Utah.
I watched the kids for several hours yesterday while Jess went to the Dr and then they had some car trouble on the way home. Darts ended up getting cancelled since some of the other team was sick so that worked out. There is no darts next week for a Thanksgiving break.
This baby is just the cutest thing. He can pull himself up to standing now so just a matter of time til he's walking and running. He'll be 10 months on the 30th.
Snookie supervising. She actually started tot fall asleep standing up yesterday and caught herself before she fell over lol. Crazy old lady dog.
Rosie did this for like an hour. I think she didn't feel good. She has a little band aid on her head because she has a little spot and she keeps picking at it. She actually left the band aid alone for most of the time. I sent a bunch home with her.
and here is my next granddaughter! She'll be here the beginning of April or late March. At least they spread out the birthdays haha. Looks like she already has a head full of hair.
My friend Dee couldn't make it to Daniel's birthday party back in October and mailed him his present. So sweet. She also buys all the kids holiday clothes all the time.
After the kids went home I made up the last of the turkey left overs (haha). This turned out SO GOOD.
I used this recipe for the base but slightly changed since I didn't have any celery or peas, and then used this recipe for the biscuits. No left overs and that's a wrap on that turkey. Well we still have 2 bowls of soup but that will be gone by the time the weekend is over.
I need to make a menu/shopping list for next week. I took the 20 pound turkey I bought on Tuesday out of the freezer to thaw out for Thanksgiving. I'm in charge of the turkey, stuffing and what else? Not sure lol. Need to figure that out. We will be eating at Jessica's house so I won't have to clean, just cook ;) And probably watch kids while she cleans ;)
Now that the power is back on I can work on my wine bags a bit more. Last night I ended up just talking to my friend on the phone. I didn't want to be rude and sew at the same time haha.
