Hello happy Saturday! I'm exhausted. I got up early this morning an went to Galt (about 45 minute away) for this little vendor event. When I was got there I was like oh this is going to be a sleeper but at least I'm out of the house doing something besides work or the grocery store ;)
Lucky number 13 for my space. Jessica always had #13 for softball
I actually ended up doing ok for not having any "fresh stock" and seemed much busier than most of the booths around me.
It was COLD!
I haven't been cold in awhile lol.
Ended up using one of my quilts wrapped around me for a bit
I sold some stuff I've had for a really long time today so that was nice.
I'm home but my car is still packed. My friend Cassi is visiting her mom and we are going to go to dinner in like an hour and a half. Not sure where we are going though.
Yesterday I bought a neighbor's washing machine for Jess. She had a clothes pin doing something to make her old one work so I jumped at the chance to buy her a used one from the neighbor at a good price. After I said I'd buy it the lady said that we'd have to take off the door frame to get it out. I was like shit Scott's going to hate me lol. He ended up having to unhook it and turn off the main water valve since it was leaking. And take off the door casing. Surprisingly he didn't complain at all. The house it came from was one of my dart partner's who recently went into an assisted living home and her step daughter is helping clean the house out.
All set up at Jessica's
Did I show you this fabulous cloud when I came home on Tuesday?
I made this recipe for dinner the other night. Holy shit it was so spicy I couldn't even eat it. Even after I added sour cream. Must have been the wing sauce stuff I bought.
Oh and I had a great laugh at this little pecker potato I found when I was making it. Scott didn't think it was as funny as I did.
These beef fajitas were fantastic. I'll make those again for sure.
That's all the cooking I did this week. I got those pizza's the other night and so we ate those for 2 days lol. Last night I had PB&J. I watched the kids all day Thursday and Friday so I was beat.
Eventually I'll get this quilt finished. I ended up doing 12 rows of 15. I had the other 3 rows worth of blocks done but it's huge. I think it's big enough this way. I just have to turn over the edges and sew then do all the clipping. Tomorrow! Hopefully. Can't wait to get it done so I can sew something else lol. Orders are nice but I like being able to just do whatever and not worry about if someone's going to like it or not. Also black and gray are boring to work on ;)
My helpers on Thursday.
When he took a 20 minute nap on Friday. How do little kids just keep going and going I'm tired why aren't you napping?
Did you watch the fight? Scott and I watched from when the girls were fighting (after the busted eye happened-so gross) til it was all over. Guess people say it was scripted. I wouldn't be surprised. I said it was like watching my kid fight my dad or something lol. Not that Tyson's old enough to be my dad but he fought like an old guy.
Anyhow look at this! All but Lucy in one picture. Someone one said that's a lot of animals and I'm like I know but I didn't bring them here except for Lucy and she was going to die outside at work lol.
When I went to use the blanket last night and didn't realize Tubz was sleeping on it. Well ok then you can have the blanket sheesh don't kill me ;)
Next weekend they are doing the community garage sale around the club. There is a little chance of rain on the weather app so far for Saturday. So if it doesn't rain I am going to put my booth stuff out. Figured a bit of Christmas shopping for the neighbors.
