Hello happy Monday! It's Veterans day today so I am off work.

Scott is off today for his every other Monday off. When he was trying to decide what day to take off I told him Mondays would be good since he doesn't get all the little holidays and they usually celebrate them on Mondays. My plan worked haha.

Also I got him to take my car in for the recall finally this morning. Hopefully it's not a cluster fk when he gets there and goes smoothly. Edited already that it's going to take 2 hours at least. Apparently there are FOUR recalls. 

Yesterday I went and got more fabrics for this Raiders quilt. I'm pretty much going to be making this for free because fabric is expensive and I didn't have enough of the right colors. I also didn't get enough when I went to the store and have to go back today and get the rest (or tomorrow). 

I've got this much pinned together so far, I can start sewing those together.

Last night I made this cornbread chili for dinner. I added ground beef because my family would be starving if we just ate beans and bread. The cornbread part kind of overtook the rest of it. If I made it again I'd maybe 1/2 the cornbread mixture or put it in a 9x13 pan so it had more room to spread out. Still no left overs of course lol

I took a shower so I got my main to do for the day done haha. 

It says it's going to rain here shortly so I pulled all my poor potted plants on the porch out from under the over hang so they can get a drink. They are all dehydrated because I'm a horrible plant mother. 

Jessica isn't feeling well so we'll see if the kids end up over here today ;)
