Hello happy Black Friday! 

Do people still go shopping today?

We all just finished off the leftover Pumpkin Pie for pre-breakfast lol. Breakfast is more like brunch at this point since Scott just started making it and it's after 10. 

The littles came over in the afternoon so their mom could finish setting up for the party at their house. Here is Nate-Man helping me pose with my finished turkey before I cut it up lol.

My mom brought over this little rocking Lion for the kids. Tubz was petrified of it but is finally not as scared. Daniel brought it into the kitchen to have a meal with the rest of his animals he plays with. 

I took Rosie home before we were ready so she could have some quite time with Ms Rachel and hopefully take a nap. She was still sleeping when we got there and slept through most of dinner. She still doesn't feel 100%. 

Melissa got ready to go and then Trevor comes out with a matching flannel. She was like NoOOOOooo you have to go change. It was so funny. He did eventually go change but not before teasing her for awhile.

Kind of got him to smile lol. I was trying to get a good one of him and his shirt since my friend gets the kids holiday clothes.

I may have actually ate all that. Maybe.

I did not eat all this though lol

Baby #4 coming in April. 

She always wears baggy clothes so I was like wow look at that baby!

We played a bunch of games after dinner. That was really nice.

Hard to believe it's almost Christmas but here we are again. The last few nights it's finally got colder!

Happy Thanksgiving Thursday!

We are watching the parade. So far we've had breakfast, I washed all those dishes (surprise) then made the stuffing and got the turkey in the oven. Just cooked the eggs for deviled eggs.

Yesterday I washed almost all the laundry and finished it off this morning. It's a miracle. Also got the bathroom clean. Woohoo. I'm so domesticated this week.

Trevor and I went and picked up Melissa from the airport. In the distance we saw a Goodwill and I looked it up and it's a bins store. That's exciting I didn't know there was one so close by. I need to get some stuff sold out of my sewing room before I venture over there though ;) People make so much money by reselling stuff from the bins.

We went to Round Table for Linner and while we were eating the light kept going on and off while the people there were working on something. Trevor was really concerned about the guys going up and down an extension ladder too lol. 

Melissa brought her Dalmatian blanket for me to "do something with" lol. I think it is well loved. I'm pretty sure I bought that from a thrift store way back too. Melissa said maybe a yard sale. Might be able to salvage some of the puppy groupings.

Trevor and Melissa took some tables over to Jessica's last night and Liss stayed for quite awhile so that was nice they hung out. I had like 2 hours all to myself. The last of the quiet for awhile. I'm still working on cleaning up the Christmas fabric scraps so I worked on that a bit.

Ugh just sneezed like 3 times. Time for another Sudafed. Luckily I haven't been very sick just this runny/sneezy nose but the meds make it go away so far. 

Scott's mom passed away one year ago today. So crazy it's been a year already but also feels like it was years and years ago. 

Oh and my sister in law sent a text out that instead of Christmas dinner this year they just want to do dessert. So probably won't be celebrating with them all this year since no one will want to drive to Stockton after all day of Christmas and me having to cook dinner at home. RIP family Christmas dinner. Wish my house was bigger so I could have everyone here but it's way too small for that many people. I need to try and do Easter again so at least I do one holiday. That one we can do mostly outside if the weather is nice. 

Ok well happy Turkey day! Make sure you wear some comfy pants!

Hello happy Turkey Eve! 

I am off work today woohoo. So glad I don't have to log in again until Monday.

And of course, since it's November I am getting sick again. I have a runny/stuffy nose so far. Please baby Jesus let it not go to my chest again. Also this proves the cold the kids had was not the same as the one I had before lol.

I woke up at 4am wide awake so I got up and took another Sudafed and then laid on the couch to watch some Tik Tok. Oh and took Snookie out to go potty since she was being restless too. She fell asleep on me on the couch til Scott got up. Simon joined us after he left (she sleeps in Trevor's room).

I do not know why there is a laundry basket there and if it is clean or not.

So far I've got the laundry going this morning. Most definitely need to wash my bedding. And towels.

Yesterday I went to work and then went to the grocery store along with everyone else in the city. I went to Costco afterwards for some pies. Surprisingly I made it home in one piece haha. Scott actually beat me home so that's a miracle. Still need to put away some of the groceries.

My mom had come by during the day and brought me some tapioca pudding she made. I already ate the whole thing. I did it in two sittings though so I wasn't a total piggy haha. Still bad and why I can't have sweets in the house. I just can't leave them alone!

I could not figure out why Tubz didn't want to eat her dinner in the living room last night. Then eventually I figured out she was scared of the lion rocking horse my mom brought over lol. I covered it with a blanket last night and she forgot about it this morning. We'll see what she does when I uncover it again. So funny!

Today's plan! 

Laundry (boooo)

Clean the bathroom (booo)

Pick up Melissa from the airport (YEAHHHHH)

Make the sweet potato pie minus the marshmallows on top (found out those have to be added later)

Clean the kitchen 57 times.

Tomorrow I will make the turkey & stuffing and then cut it up and put it in the crock pot to take to Jessica's for dinner. We also have bacon wrapped little smokies to make, deviled eggs and salami pepper things.

Hello happy Monday! I am only working two days this week so that is nice.

I sewed all morning and got my wine bags finished. I had just went through and cut fabrics I had in my big pattern drawer cabinet so it's a mixed Christmas group. 

Now to clean up the scraps and put away the leftover larger pieces.

My plan is to cut coasters out of the smaller pieces and then just squares and strips out of whatever is left.

I saw a cute idea for a gift card holder stocking made from scraps so I will probably make some of those. If nothing else I will have them for next year.

I watched the kids from 2:30 on and didn't take one picture of them. Mostly been trying to hide my phone from Rosie since she was messing up my apps on my phone. 

They are all sick so praying their sick is the sick I already had lol.

I made some chicken thighs for dinner. No recipe just something I have made over the years. They are so good this way.

I need to pull something out for dinner tonight and figure out my shopping list for after work tomorrow. 

This time last year we were on death watch for Scott's mom. Oh man that was so hard. I see my FB posts in my memories and it brings back all the feels. Not only of taking care of her but having to deal with the asshole brother in law. The anniversary of her death is on Thanksgiving this year. Might have to make a trip out to the cemetery this week and take some flowers.

Good morning happy Sunday!

We went to dinner last night at El Jardin. So yummy even if it took forever to get our food. All the rice and beans came home with me. Usually I bring home part of the meat too but I ate it all lol. I think I just ate soup and cereal yesterday so I was hungry.

I worked on wine bags for most of the day. This is my pile I have left that I'm working on.

Got these all done and sold a few on FB although no one has actually paid for them yet.

The kids are coming over around 2:30 today so if I want to sew I need to hurry up and do it ;) I should have got up when I first woke up this morning but it was still dark. I was having the weirdest dream about being in love with a Mormon boy. Like where does my brain find that? Some alternate ending lol. I used to go out to young single adult nights with my friend's Mormon group when I was 18. TG no one liked me there haha.
