Good morning happy Sunday! (10/20) I'm so far behind on posting my pics and blogging. I went into the office on Thursday and Friday to get all my letters done. Finally finished them all! I got my packets done too. We had 115 contracts for my main office. That is A LOT and they are supposed to get even more money next year so even more busy. Great for the farmers to be getting these contracts though. 

Yesterday was Daniel's birthday party. I have a ton of pictures so I'll save those for later! I might have to do some extra posts to catch up all my pictures! The kids are coming over in a little bit while their mom goes to work so have to get my computer time in real quick before Daniel steals my lap top for You Tube watching.

Way back last Saturday (October 12th) I woke up at my friend's house in Connecticut to this lovely view

 

aand then had some coffee made with her espresso machine. 

After everyone got up and moving we went for a little drive and walked along this little patch 

So pretty!

Then we took her daughter to gymnastics. We stayed for a little while and her dad picked her up later.

Went to the liquor store. They call them "package store" there. So weird. Here you just buy your booze in the grocery store. 

Who comes up with this stuff?

Then we went for a ride to get some brunch/linner.

This church is on her path to and from her house so we went by it a lot. It's HUGE.

The downtown area

A one lane tunnel road. When you get to the front you have to wait to see if there's a car coming. The car coming the other way flashed their lights so we could go first. 

We went to this little restaurant she had been wanting to go to. It's called Sayulita. We had to circle the parking lot twice to find a spot. Then it was going to be a long wait but we got lucky and got two spots at the bar where they also let you eat.

I got some enchiladas and they were REALLY good although definitely more of a white washed Mexican dish. 

After that we went back to the house and hung out.

We walked along the little pond area (I think we actually did that before we left but I might be mixing things up now). It is so fun and she gets a lot of wild life there. She has a trail camera and sometimes posts pictures of all the animals. I was like it would be so fun for kids to play in here and she said yeah except for the ticks. Yuck. 

Her husband Gary made us dinner from one of his Hello Fresh meals (or something similar) and then we were watching a movie and I fell asleep on the couch. Three hours different is a lot lol.

Tomorrow evening I have to go to Sacramento for a big work thing ALLLL week. It's Tuesday-Thursday but I have travel tomorrow to get there. It's not too terribly far but I'm glad I don't have to get up super early to drive there in commuting traffic in the morning. I'm already looking forward to the down time after having to talk to people all day while I'm there lol. I might take my puzzle that Jessica bought me awhile back. Although I do have a few more friends that work in other offices that should be there so I might be a bit social. 

Well the kids should be here soon! Scott is making breakfast and it's time for another cup of coffee :)
