Hello it's Sunday night (10/20) and the kids have come and gone. Still need to do a little bit of clean up. Scott cleaned up all the books Daniel crazily pulled down right before I took him home lol. I told Jess he probably had enough energy to just run home.
Trying to do a bit of catch up from my trip so I'm going to do another post or two while my house is quiet lol.
Sunday morning (10/13) there were deer in the yard! So cute! I mostly just saw them run through the yard a doe and her 2 babies. Kristin caught a pic of them before that.

Sunday we set out to go to the Berkshires in Massachusetts. All the trees were just so beautiful.
Two new states for me this trip (three if you count my layover in Maryland).
We made a pit stop and hit a couple shops while we were there.

Somehow we made a wrong turn and ended up doing this loop that was absolutely gorgeous. Fantastic historically old houses too.
Eventually we decided on this place for linner. Kristin mostly just eats once a day so that was fun for me haha. Had to get snacks a few times for this chubby girl. 51 Park Restaurant & Tavern in Lee Massachusetts.
We put our name in for the list and then took this nice selfie outside. Looked down and had been standing in dog shit. With my running shoes that have 100000 grooves in them. LOVELY. Lots of grass/curb/puddles and some tissue later I was mostly clean. Always me that stuff happens to.

I got the apple cranberry smash drink. It was ok, not the best thing ever.
The waffle fries were really good, especially the cheese sauce that was mostly on the bottom.

After we drove around some more and looked at stuff. I think this is the day we also went to some outlet stores but neither of us bought anything. It was raining, dark and Sunday so we headed back. She pulled off the freeway and surprised me by going to a casino though.
Woohoo that was fun. I won like $30 right away and mostly just played around with their money after that.
Kristin was up too then accidentally lost $50 in one spin. Whoops lol. After that it was a lower mood so we got canoli's and then went home.
Cannoli was about a 6 out of 10. I think I'd like them better if they were about 1/2 the size around. A little more cookie a little less filling.
We went right to sleep when we got back to the house! That was a long fun day mostly spent in the car.
