Hello happy Sunday!
Today was babysit the grandkids Sunday. They came a bit before 9am so we had a hurry and clean morning. Scott cleaned the big rug yesterday so that was done at least. I got up and started cleaning. Scott gets up and starts making breakfast? I'm like are you really that hungry you can't wait to eat? Sheesh. Wouldn't want to be helpful first or anything. So he made pancakes and I picked up the house. It's amazing how cluttered it gets in such a short period of time. I need to put my clothes away and do some laundry to clean up our room. Still have stuff in transition from our trip.
So I watched Gaslit all day yesterday. It's a bit slow to start and I had to rewatch the first episode and pay more attention. It was good as a whole though and for someone who was born about the time it was all happening it was educational. I was looking up a few things and people while I watched it. It's just amazing now how that would be no big deal with Trump. I mean he pretty much did a bunch of similar stuff right? And 3/4ths my neighborhood wants to reelect him.
Anyhow.
Dinner last night, I stopped sewing to cook. Someone should reward me somehow haha. It's just so hard to care about cooking now. Scott never wants to sit at the table together now so it's just eating by myself. Pepper steak. I used one fresh onion and then a frozen onions and peppers bag. Turned out pretty good.
I took Simon for a short walk. It was still super hot out and my knee was being janky for some reason.
I have a roast in the oven so that is dinner for tonight. Probably just make a sandwich out of it, although we are almost out of sandwich bread. Might have to make mine on some sourdough.
Back to our trip!
Wednesday 7/24 we went to the Mariners & Angel's game. We got there super early and parked in the parking garage. SIXTY FIVE DOLLARS. So crazy. Oh well part of vacation.
We walked around a tiny bit then came back and waited in line to get in since someone had to pee (not me). I worried if I'd be able to take my little clutch purse in since everyone had clear purses and bags but they let me take it in. I didn't even think about that.
We had seats along the 1st base side so not too bad.
Once it filled up. By the end of the game I wanted to take this kids finger and bop him over the head with it but yeah I know he was just a kid haha.
These goofy fish ran a race then went up through the stands
It was a lot of fun! The Mariner's lost by 1 towards the end so that was sad for their home team.
Afterwards we attempted to walk to something or anything. Scott kept wanting to take breaks and then I could tell he just didn't want to walk around much so we went back to the parking garage and got the car.
We went back to the hotel and were just sitting there and I was like are we really done for the night? So we went to dinner. We ended up at Famous Dave's. We used to have one here but they are all gone. The place was pretty dead and we sat in the bar area with like 2 other people the whole time we were there. There was no one in the regular dining room.
I tried some fancy drink but it was meh.
Dinner was delicious though. We had leftovers for breakfast the next day too.
While we were at the baseball game my eye was kind of bugging me. That is when Dolores as I named her showed up. Yeah a nice ugly stye in my eye for vacation. How rude.
