8/2/24

Helloo happy FriYeah! This week has just flown by.
Super busy for work today and worked all the way up and past 4pm.

Last night I had darts. Our team is sucking. I got one low ton but that was it. The other girl on my team won one game so we won 1 out of 7 lol. I hung out afterwards with my friend Dawn. She has a broken arm that they can't do surgery on because her numbers are too low. I'm like can't they put you in the hospital to get them up? Seems odd. She said she has a cardiologist appt on Monday. Nothing like walking around with a broken arm in an ace bandage.

Back to my trip!
Tuesday morning (7/23) we checked out of our fabulous hotel and went a little ways down the street to Pig'N Pancake. What a name haha. It was a lot like an Ihop.

The usual pancake sandwich that most people call it. The pancakes were really good.

After that we drove to the Tillamook Creamery. I went here when I went to Oregon with my grandparents when I was 16 but that was awhile ago haha.

Scott and I discussing how these huge blocks of cheese would work out well for him ;)

Gift shop

Beep Beep

We got ice cream and watched dogs pee and poo on the big grass area. I was like little kids should not play on there... lol. It was a nice little stop and Scott got some free cheese samples. I gave him mine too since I'm not big on just eating cheese by itself (ick).

Driving down the road, oh look cows haha. You don't see dairy cows out in fields much here in California. Usually just beef cattle.

Oh look a train

A steam train! People were waving, that was fun.

We stopped somewhere and went through a huge antique store (didn't buy anything)
Check out this long skinny post office.

Then we went across for the bathroom in the park. I could have hung out here for a day.

Here is the crazy scary bridge in Astoria going into Washington. This is a crap your pants bridge.

2 lanes of traffic. So scary. I wonder if they have a lot of wrecks on there.

and then we were in Washington!
