Hello happy Monday!
Somehow I never got around to posting for a few days. Work has been busy (finally) so that takes up most of the day and then I'd tell myself it was too late I'd just post in the morning.
Thursday night walk
Missed Friday and Saturday but made it last night for a short one. It was getting pretty dark so I cut it short. The amount of psycho dogs barking at us is really concerning sometimes. This one is like tied in the house but outside on the porch? I'm just waiting for him to get lose to try and kill us. Not going to go that way anymore since he scares the crap out of me.
The moon was enormous last night but of course doesn't show in pictures.
Saturday I went to Joanns and got some fabric to work on this gray and light blue quilt for an order. I had some but it didn't seem good enough and I needed a big piece for the backing fabric. Our closest Joanns is so unorganized. They have clearance mixed in all over (which is fine) but then they have different types of fabrics in partial rows and I had to go through the whole fabric section looking for what I wanted. Also they had no carts out except one that didn't work. They use them all themselves. I told the gal I was going to set my stuff on the counter since there wasn't carts and then I got back and it's gone! Luckily she had just had a brain fart and put them in the basket behind her. I would have been pissed if they put them away again. I got everything cut and the squares sewn together with their batting and backing and now I just have to put the rows together. That will be my after work project today if nothing comes up.
After I went to Joanns I went to the store which was packed. I didn't have a list so I just went through and got a few things and got the heck out of there. I can't even concentrate when there are too many people.
I stayed up way too late watching this movie the other day. It was really good. I had to look up the last scene though.
Sunday I got up early to clean a little for the kids to come over. Tubz helping ;)
We had everything ready for them to come over and Jess texted me that they were still sleeping if I wanted to go over there for awhile. Of course this cutie was wide awake! He's army crawling across the floor now and she said he woke up with a tooth this morning. Everyone was awake and ready to go by 11 so then we went back to my house. (Daniel is a night owl apparently)
Melissa and Eric came over and told us that they are going to move to Utah in 2 weeks! They are going to move to the Southern West area of Utah so it is 2 hours from Vegas. I'm so excited for them to finally have their own nice place. They will be living in an apartment but they won't have to share it with anyone so it will be so nice for them. Eric got a job there and Melissa will find one once they move. It's a 10 hour drive there so not too far away and they can also fly out of Vegas.
After the kids went home we went to Chili's for dinner. They have really good burgers there. Pretty sure I've said that before haha.
Woke up to Simon dropping her teddy bear on my face this morning lol. She had a snuggle for a bit before I got up.

Working at the kitchen table so far this morning but Scott is home for his Monday off and Trevor is off too so I'll probably be moving to the sewing room soon since they are both watching tv now.
I'm excited to get that rag quilt put together tonight. I have 2 more to make after that one and will have this lady's 6 quilt order done.
