Hello happy Thursday from our crappy hotel!

I'll tell you more about that later though.  

Cracking up about the wifi here when I went to connect my laptop.

I'm way behind on posting about my vacation I'm still on. Today Dolores joined us on my eye. I said she's Aunt Flo's friend. Since Aunt Flo couldn't come she sent her. Who doesn't love a stye on your eye while you're on vacation?

Ok back to SUNDAY! 

We left our hotel and went across the freeway and over to Pepper's. It took awhile to get our food but the waitress was so nice and friendly. Big tip for you! Hardly ever get that now a days.

Got the trusty old pancake sandwich. I always put the eggs in between the pancakes.

and some fruit we both ate

Then we got gas and some more ice (these little ice chests don't keep ice for long)

Driving up the coast is so beautiful. 

We were going to check out a little hiking area off the main road but then we saw a bear and decided we weren't equipped to meet a bear on the trail lol. 

These gold bears were on a bridge while we were still in CA. Those are more our level of bears ;)

We made it to the Trees of Mystery. My one "to do" that I really wanted on the trip. I went here with my grandparents when I was a kid. 

The biggest blue balls you ever did see ;)

This whole area is just so beautiful. I'd love to live around here. 

We talked each other out of going on the walking bridge thing lol

We did however take the gondola thing up to the top.

Then at the top you see how it works and you're like damn we could have died haha.

and then we did something a little stupid and walked back down.

Hmm why is it going up hill instead of all down hill?

After going up and down Scott started to need a lot of breaks. I'm like hope you don't croak back here there's no cell service...

When we finally made it to the bottom lol

Then we had bench breaks every few feet until we were done with the park.

You can see how tired he was here. We were both a little sore for 2 days after haha. Mostly the tops of my thighs. I'm glad I had been walking I would have died if I hadn't.

and then we sat in the car for a bit and went on our way!
