Good morning happy Tuesday!

Yesterday I went and sat with my dad while my mom had hernia surgery and then went to their house for a bit. She was doing great so I came home in the afternoon. I had to get up at 3:30am to get there in time so I was exhausted. I napped for a bit and then of course it was like midnight before I could fall asleep again.

So lets go back to Sunday since I missed a day.

Breakfast! Back to big weekend breakfasts (more like brunch) now that Scott is home. 

He made two trips to his mom's with Trevor. He found Bob's Big Boy. He's a bank that his parents used to save their change and then let the kids put it in there. We thought his sister had taken it when she left since it was removed from the linen closet. Nope, she just packed it up. So weird. It still has all the money in it. They used to give the kids the money once it was full or let them spend it somewhere I think.

Jess & Daniel took the kids to the park in their St. Patty's outfits. They are so cute.

She had a couple videos of them running around too. So cute.

Monday I was up at 3:30 and my mom was checked in at 6am. They had a vending machine in the waiting room so this was my coffee for the morning.

We were in the car back to their house by 10! She just had a small hernia they stitched up. She was funny when we got home and my dad went to get her meds. She was like a chatty Cathy. Eventually her meds started to wear off more and she headed for her chair lol. 

Her cat is so funny he uses that tail like a dog wagging it back and forth.

OMG if you want to burp get this to drink. They put a free one in with the Hello Fresh meal and damn. I burped like 5000 times. Definitely wouldn't buy that.

Got my bicycle squares all sewn together. I will have to get some more batting to finish them. I have some fabric I can use for the backing so that is good! It's like it's free to make when I have all the pieces :)

I've been working on sewing the pink square scraps I have together too for another little project.
