Good morning! Happy Halloween!

I've went from no plans to the kids coming over for dinner later. I have to run to the store in a bit. 

Simon taking a break after wanting to go outside and inside twice already. We played fetch for a bit so maybe she's ready for a break. Snookie mean mugging me as usual. 

Last night I took them for a ride to Dairy Queen. Simon thought it was great! Although she wasn't too interested in the pup cup they gave her. Snookie was happy to get out of the car when we got home and wouldn't even look at the pup cup lol.

I've been working on cleaning up my scraps. Down to just putting the 1" Christmas/Red/Greens together then I'll put these away for later. I think I've got quite a collection going. Going to have to work on making some more string blocks soon. 

I peeked at the weather for Saturday and of course there is a 30% chance of rain. Of course! Nothing the rest of the 10 day forecast. Hopefully that will move along. I don't have any events scheduled after this one so I need to sell a lot lol.

Darn people keep emailing me work to do today. Guess I should get back at it.

Hello happy Monday! It's been a rough morning taking the dogs in and out 500 times. Jesus. Do they just want me to get exercise?  So annoying. Even the cats were acting up.

Watched the kids yesterday. Only got pictures of Rosie since she was watching Miss Rachel on my phone for like 2 hours when she got here. She started off really grouchy. After she got her Miss Rachel fill and had some stuff to eat she was better.

This picture reminds me of one of Jessica. Going to have to dig it out.

She put herself in the dog pen. Going to have to clean the remainders of the dog bed out of there since Simon ripped it all up. 

After they left I cleaned up and went to bed. Trevor I think worked another double last night. I heard him at like 4am. I had to get up at one point last night and get another blanket. Brrr.

No plans for today! I can't believe it's almost 1pm already. I was busy with work all morning.

Good morning happy Sunday! I'm tired already so I'll probably be half dead by tonight haha. 

Yesterday I went with Jess and the kids over to my mom's "cousin's party". I'm like mom did you invite Melissa & Trevor? She said it was for the little kids but everyone else was there. Fail on my  mom's part. Sorry Melissa :( I think they both had to work but still should have been invited. 

The kids had fun and ALL the kids were pretty chill compared to some times so it wasn't too bad haha. 

Of course the picture I took without her binky is blurry. My friend Dee buys them cute outfits for all the holidays. 

Daniel found some Madagascar stuffies and played with them the whole time. Jess hid them right before we left so he wouldn't want to take them home lol. 

Brooklyn climbed into the drawer by herself. She's so cute! 

After we left Jess had to run into the store so I sat with the kids in the car since they were sleeping. They woke up right before she came back. Quick run through the McD's drive thru then got dropped off at home. I worked on cleaning up my scraps that are all over from my last few projects. Still have a whole shoe box full to finish cleaning up. 

Cleaning later then the kids come over for the afternoon/evening.

Trevor worked 2 shifts last night. I don't even know what time he got home but it probably wasn't all that long ago!

Good morning happy Saturday!

I'm dying from cramps today. Aunt Flo just needs to take a hike already. My mom is doing a little cousins Halloween party today but I'm leaning towards not going since I'm not feeling all that great.

Last night Scott and I went to Chili's for dinner at like 8:30 lol. I had this expensive wild berry something something. It was really good. I had the bacon burger for dinner.

Trevor was at work so Simon was in the crate while we were gone with stuff to chew on. Snookie was passed out on this pillow. She woke up right before I took the picture. I think she's like 90% deaf, she never hears us when we come in now. 

I've been working on going through my inventory to see what sold at the little craft show I did last weekend. I'm almost done, just have to go through a few more baskets of the little coin purses.  Then I'll probably work on cleaning up my scraps since my desk is a mess.

Good morning happy Friday!

This is what Snookie does for like 1/2 the day now. She scratches on the front door and mean mugs me. I think she's just bored and sad that Rusty is gone and Simon is outside. If I put her outside and leave her she barks like a crazy dog so that lasts like 1 minute. 

Finished these Wednesday night. They look better in person I promise lol.

I worked in the office yesterday and got the last of the letters out and was busy all day long. It took me most of the morning to get all my emails caught up. I have 6 more while I'm taking a break. Every one is busy busy right now. I love it. Way better than being bored all day.

After work I went to the store and got some groceries, ran home and threw them in the fridge. Then I went to darts! We have two subs for the 2 other girls on our team last night. I guess Lana fell (she's the older lady on our team) and Mary has been on vacation for a month. Hopefully she comes back soon. We ended up winning all but one game last night. I won two games so that was fun! I hung out in the bar for a little bit and watched my friends play pool. I didn't want to stay too long though since Simon was in her crate with a giant bone I bought her. (Trevor finally was at work).

I sent this to my 2 buddies and said "look it's us" lol.

Today's plan is to do nothing except work and maybe some sewing. Getting tired of coasters so might put away what's left of the scraps I've been working on for next year.

Hello happy hump day! 

I went to the office yesterday. It was kind of nice not having to deal with the dogs wanting to come in and out all day lol. I went and got Hawaiian BBQ for lunch in the new shopping center that isn't too far from my work. It's nice to have a more options.

After work I went and tried to take my TV back but it was 10 days passed the 30 you can apparently return electronics at Wal Mart. The people before me were returning clothes and shoes without tags or a receipt and that was ok. I'll never understand that one. They probably wore it all.  So maybe after being pissed carrying my little tv around and it being upside down in my car it will connect to the internet. We shall see at some point when I finally get it out of there and bring it back in.

Then I took Jessica's 2 year old broken vacuum back to Costco with no receipt or attachments and got a $175 store credit and bought her a new one. I swear we should only buy things that could possibly break at Costco. (Didn't see any little TV's there lol)

I got us a chicken pot pie and one for Jess too for dinner. That thing takes 1 1/2 hours to cook how crazy is that? They are ok but home made is better.

I got this batch of coasters done last night. I still have to pack them up. I like the snowman and the tree the best. 

Today I've actually had a bunch of work stuff to do but I needed a break. Plus my internet is being so freaking slow it's making it hard to work. I just restarted my work computer so we'll see if that helps any. No plans for tonight other than sewing. I need to soak my hedges in the front yard they are going to die of thirst soon. Still debating on taking the ones next to my walk way out. They have so much bermuda grass growing in them they just look like bermuda grass bushes!

Good morning happy Tuesday!

I have to go into the office today to send out more of those letters. Still waiting for the one office to send me the signed versions back so I just have the ones that are all ready to go and just need postage to do today (so far).  I guess I'll do some spreadsheet work while I'm there. Boring. 

I have been working on coasters still. I got these done before the craft show and forgot to take pics so here are a few of the cute Santas. I love them. 

Finished these yesterday. I've been saving these little cat scraps forever lol

and more Snoopy/Peanuts. Finally used up the last of those scraps that came from a $2 scrub shirt forever ago. I made cup cozies and masks from it lol.

Working on these now. Just need to cut some backings and batting for them. I'm going to have to get more batting soon. 

Nothing else exciting going on here. I kind of like it that way! I had a crazy dream last night with a car wreck in front of me and I had a baby with me. Some guy was trying to attack us. We were in some kind of mall? Weird lol.  At least I know I was sleeping!

Good morning happy Monday!

We survived another babysitting Sunday. The kids were pretty good yesterday. It helped that Melissa was here to help out! Scott didn't get here until later since he was taking a motorcycle class. He's done with that now and will be able to just take a paper to the DMV and submit it for his license.

She did take a nap so that was good. I found out the secret to making her super happy is to turn on Miss Rachel lol. She thinks that is the best thing ever!

Eric and Trevor worked on power washing the boat. I think when they were done they decided the boat was a POS so maybe it will just get cut up now. I will be ecstatic to get that out of the yard. 

No plans today other than work and probably sewing. I'm working on the little Christmas scraps I have making them into coasters. Might have to pause after the set I'm working on to clean up all the other fabric scraps I have floating around from the last couple projects.

My little tv I bought myself keeps not connecting to the internet. It will work for like 2 minutes then it loses it. Super annoying. I tried some things I found on You Tube last night and that didn't work either. That's why I never buy myself things. Always just turn out to be a POS.

Good morning happy Sunday! Friday night I went to darts and won 2 games wohooo! Then I went and picked up my niece Adrian. We stopped at the store on the way home to get lunch stuff for my craft booth on Saturday since there was no food available at the event. 

We got up really early and set up my booth in the dark! I was so glad when the sun came up. It was cold and then it got windy. Ugh I hate the wind it is the worst.

I sold a bit but nothing spectacular. It was nice to get out of the house and hang out with Adrian.  I took her home after it was all over. My brother's house is pure chaos with 3 little ones. This baby doesn't walk yet but she's a monkey. 

Picked up Panda for Trevor and I on the way home. He was supposed  to go to work and Scott had been doing a motorcycle class all day so I thought I'd have a nice quiet house to myself after he left for work. Hahahah.

I drive up in the driveway and Trevor has the old boat pulled right where I'd pull my car to unload everything. Scott's car is there too. Trevor gave his work shift away and apparently Scott drove to the motorcycle class in his car and they had them use their bikes. I guess he came straight to the house afterwards. 

I ended up getting mad at everyone and yelling so that was fun. Then I went to the bar for karaoke. Stayed for a bit but no one really to hang out with after my friend Sheryl went home. I come home and Simon has eaten the inside arm of the couch again. Icing on the cake! Trevor patched it up but it looks crappy. I guess I should know by now I'm not allowed to have anything nice!

The kids went to the pumpkin patch the other day. These were my favorite pictures I stole.

They are coming over in a bit for their babysitting Sunday! Hopefully everyone is happy today lol.

Hello! Happy FriYEAH!

I am almost done with my first round of Christmas coasters. Just have to snip the threads and package them up. I'm doing a show at a this store tomorrow. It's called The Primitive Barn. Hopefully I sell something lol. The booth fee was only $25 so if I make $50 it's good lol. 

I am picking up my niece Adrian after darts tonight so she can spend the night and go with me. It's nice to have someone so I can at least hit the bathroom if I need to. Plus the company is nice :)

Tubz came in last night. She was trying to get away from Simon and I put her on the desk. Then she hopped around a bit. Sheesh. Silly cat. 

I worked most of the day in the office yesterday doing $8.50 certified return receipt letters for applications that weren't funded. Such a waste of money. I still have one more office to do since the boss man there hasn't sent me the signed ones back. Another office wanted to double check a few so I got them all ready to go just have to put the postage on them. I'll have to do that Tuesday. It was kind of nice to be out of the house and not have to deal with the dogs all day lol.

Sad to hear that a guy that plays darts on another team passed away in his sleep the other day. His wife (think they weren't actually married but together for a long time) plays Bunco with us too. So sad. I don't think he was more than 10 years old than me if that.  Super nice guy. Meanwhile the old that have lost their brains just live on and on. My old bookclub friend Ginny is in a home now. She already had dementia and then got West Nile Virus and encephalitis. I guess she is a lot better from that now but not good enough to live alone. Sad. She used to say when she got old she wanted to just take wine into a snow bank and go that way. If only we got to choose eh?

Good morning happy Thursday! I need to get moving and go into the office to mail out letters. Joy!

I ended up having a little birthday dinner for Scott last night after all. It wasn't as much fun without Jess and the littles though. Melissa's boyfriend had to work too so just her and my mom came. I got Papa Murphy's pizza, cake and ice cream.  

Before all that I got this far with the coasters I was working on. Still have to sew them together.

Good morning happy 53rd Birthday Wednesday for Scott. 

Here is a picture I had found when I was helping with his mom. I just love it.

I think so far I'm not sick so maybe we can squeak in some kind of birthday dinner. 

Yesterday I made up some 49ers bag. I sewed those up pretty quick! 

I decided to make up some more Christmas coasters. I had a great time piecing these together. I pulled out all the smaller pieces of Christmas fabric I have cut them up. Then I found a bag of small pieces I had saved from last year lol. So I have enough to keep me busy for awhile. I think I might sew the ones  I have ready up now before I work on piecing any more.

I ended up staying up super late because I decided I wanted to watch Urban Cowboy at like 11pm. Hadn't watched that in awhile. 

Hopefully it's a good day. Jess said she's feeling a little bit better. I think she got more sick than the kids poor thing!
