Good morning happy Wednesday!
I have no pictures from yesterday since OMG such shocking news and now a bit of a life change for us. Scott's sister who lived with his mom died in her sleep. His mom is 92 so this is not quite the scenario we though would be happing. His sister was almost 70. So now I think we will be having to take care of his mom. She is not stable enough to be left alone really so someone needs to be there all the time. Scott spent the night with her last night and I told him I'd go over there at like 12:30 then he can go into work and get some stuff done and I'll have got some work done also.
Not sure exactly what we are going to do. If we get internet hooked up at his mom's house then I can work from home over there during the day. Another option is to bring her home to our house which would be easier on us but maybe not so much for her (and not much of a break for us).
arrggg
So crazy.
I went to get us dinner from Wendy's last night and may have ate a frosty in the car on the way back with our salads lol. I am not one of those lose weight when stressed out people lol.
Rusty wanted to go out to go potty at like 3am this morning. So I had to take them out and then get back in bed just started getting comfy and then the stupid cat is pushing the button on the water machine. So then I had to hurry and get up to get her off of it so that she didn't let 5 gallons of water come out. Stupid cat. Trevor just put foil on the top of it to see if that will keep her off. I pretty much think she knows what she is doing. I contemplated just getting up at like 4am but finally dozed back off around 5 and slept for a couple hours.
Ok off to get my coffee and then get some work done, of course today I have like 12 emails of stuff to do.
I'm so sorry about your sister-in-law. What shocking news. I hope Scott is okay. Can his mom go to a home or assisted living? Did she have insurance for that? Your home is small where will she go? Boy you have a lot on your plate Julie. If you need to run away, I'm here :-)
ReplyDelete@Peg, I could never send her to a home, she'd probably die the first night she stayed there.
ReplyDeleteJulie, yes, I get that. What an adjustment for you both. Poor thing.
ReplyDeleteI hate aging. I have no children so I have got long term care insurance when I was 45. This way I'll have money for an assisted living or long term care facility. Hopefully, I won't be left homeless and alone.
@Peg, it's great that you planned head
