Good morning! This is where I spent my weekend.
Saturday I got there a bit after 8, set up and the mall opened at 10. I sat there until after 1pm before I had ANY sales. It was getting to the point that it was comical and I couldn't imagine sitting there for two days without selling something but the bubble finally burst and I had several busy streaks. Saturday turned out to be an ok sales day. When I got home I was so sore all over. So weird. Not like I was out running a marathon or anything. Just sitting there for the most part.
Sunday the mall didn't open until 12 and all my stuff was still there stowed under the table so I just had to put it out. I got there about 11:30 or so and my friend Cassi came with me so we were set up in no time.
I had some sales right away. A gal that follows me on Instagram came and shopped. She's bought some stuff from me through Etsy before too so that was super nice! Then someone else bought the Care Bears bag and some other stuff. Then for the rest of the day it was a $5 sale here and there so nothing too exciting.
I don't think I'd do two days back to back again unless it was at Christmas time. The booth fee was $100 per day so not really worth it for Sunday. I sold almost all the masks I had brought. I should have made 100 to take haha, I probably would have sold them all.
I did a little tally of things I sold.
keycains-23
mug rugs-8
zip bags-28
wine bags-10
make up bags-2
masks-33
tissue packs-6
mug cozies-14
tote bags-3
So masks, zip bags and keychains were the bigger sales in that order.
I am almost out of all the local team sports keychains (and no zip bags) so I think I will focus on making some of those next. So far I'm just scheduled to do the Lodi Street Faire on October 3rd. I was hoping to do something in September but haven't found anything I want to do yet.
Today's after work project is to go through my inventory and take off anything that sold from my Etsy shop.
I'm going to have to go into work tomorrow to mail some letters out. I need to just print off some postage and bring it home with some envelopes and use my own printer for these smaller mailings. Not really worth spending an hour driving round trip for 5 things to put in the mail. Although I have plenty of other stuff I can do in the office while I'm there.
Still waiting to see if they approve the $400 quote from Got Junk to remove the old printer/copier/scanner at work. That seems totally worth it since they can come into the building and take it out. The other option was to get a U-Haul and take it to the dumps but we'd still have to get it out of the building some how. We have like one beefy guy at work and the rest are these spindly little things so I don't know how that would work out haha.
Ok off to do some email work! Hope you have a great day!
