Here's my set up, it's weird setting up without my canopy but a lot easier lol. The business I set up in front of is empty so it was ok I as blocking the door ;)
This guy takes pictures and then does things to them on the computer I think. Interesting but a bit expensive. He said that he pays a lot for the framing. I was telling him he should learn how to do it himself to save some money.
His brother is a painter, he has some cool pics but they all kind of look like him.
I sold a few things, 1 thing to the print guy, a bunch to my parents who came and bought me lunch and a few things to the cafe owner. Too funny. This place does have fantastic sandwiches though. I had never heard of it before and I'll definitely go back for the food. The owner had 2 cute little girls that worked in the shop too. Nice little family business.
I don't usually sweat a whole lot but man I was so sweaty by the time I was done yesterday. At one point I moved my car in front of my space and sat in there with the AC on and charged my phone.
After I was packed up I went over to my friend Dee's house. She lives right down the street so I went over and hung out. I ended up having dinner over there too. When I got home I pretty much went to bed and fell asleep immediately.
Today's plan is to wash some clothes and I think work on selling another box of fabric. So far all I've managed to do is eat the carbs Scott made us for breakfast and drink some coffee!
So sorry you did not have a lot of traffic - that is so much work to set that all up and then not sell a lot. :-(
ReplyDeleteWhat a bummer!
I just sell of etsy I have never tried a booth.
Your booth looked awesome! Great job!
That is a lot of work for not many sales but sales are like that I suppose. Highs and lows.
ReplyDeleteBut your "booth" looks great. But what really stunned me is you say you don't sweat. Maybe you need to be here with 95% humidity. I defy you not to sweat! :-)
