Trim Down Tuesday Week 1

Last night I sewed up some of the squares I had cut out into these little pouches to put pads into. Someone gave me the idea when they thought maybe that what my tissue holders were for. I went searching online and someone posted almost the same way I do those only you make them a bigger square. I think they are cute but IDK if they will actually sell at all. I'm going to get some pads from the dollar store to put inside and then put them in a basket to sell ;)

Another sideways picture that won't turn. Sorry for the semi dark pictures.

Last night's dinner that I winged. Teriyaki chicken. It was good and no left overs of course. Also finally cut up all the melons I bought to make fruit salad.

This morning I braved the scale for Trim Down Tuesday with Ann

It was a little nicer than I thought it was going to be but still sad lol. I logged into Lose it but still made bad choices so left off at lunch.  Bad Julie.

This made me laugh

I've had a bunch of old nasty files on my desk for a couple months that I was procrastinating working on organizing. This week I told myself I need to just do them and get them done so I'll stop having them there taunting me when I think I'm bored. Today I finally got them done!

Then I looked into the big box of misc papers my boss had left on the desk next to mine for me to clean. Yep, more shit for those files. Boo. At least they are pretty organized now so it will be easier to file this stuff away. I think a bunch of it is just duplicate info anyways.

Today I've been listened to Missing & Murdered: Finding Cleo. I have heard about indigenous children being taken into foster care in the US but I had never heard about the 60's scoop before.

Well guess I'll go make dinner now. I won't be hanging out outside any time in the near future. My gas & electric bill is going to be a million dollars since my little wall air conditioner hardly ever kicks off.

  3. Thank you for joining me!! We can do this together!!! I cant believe how hot it is where you live! We have been in the 90's a few days in a row here in PA. I love heat and summer but I don't know if I could do 100's for multiple days in a row - WOW!!!!
Those squares are an awesome idea!!! My nieces make those out of paper, right?

  4. You little fabric pouches are so pretty. By pads, do you mean like Post=It notes? So cute. And yes, I wish blogger would add a feature where you can rotate photos. I always have to go into another program to rotate them before I upload them. Wastes so much time!

    1. No like period pads :) I usually rotate my pics on the computer first, for some reason when I upload them to blogger sometimes they will turn.

Due to the huge amounts of Anonymous spam comments I'm going to try the verification for a bit. Sorry, I know it's annoying!
