Over It

I'm so freaking exhausted.

Of course with all the stress going on I have to get freaking sick. I can almost breathe out of my nose right now but it's migrating down to my chest. Ole.

We aren't having too much fun with the whole "family dynamic" at the in-laws place. The funeral isn't until next Monday so we have a little bit longer until it's done. Lots of toxic people that I normally try to avoid.

But on the nice side, yesterdays was Scott's mom's birthday. I wasn't going to go since I'm not feeling all that great but Jessica (she flew in Tuesday) told me to just go. So I did. Just tried not to breathe on Scott's mom.

She is 87 years old now!

We took over pizza, cake and ice cream. His sister Suzie who lives there was there but that was it. I'm glad she didn't have to spend her birthday alone.

Time Marches On

Scott's dad passed away last night. So so hard. His poor mom.  I love this picture from a few years ago on their anniversary.

Plugging on today to do the craft show. Not much I can do for anyone at home anyways. Sounds like everything is on hold until Monday for arrangements.  I couldn't sleep and feel like I have an ulcer so might as well get up right?

A Whole Mouthful

I finished all the little tooth fairy pillows I have been working on for my craft show. These started with a friend sending me a picture asking me if I could make one. Of course her picture was a bit different then what I ended up with but I think they are pretty darn cute!

I sent a picture of them all together to my mom and she said "it's a whole mouthful!" which made me laugh.

While I was making these I started naming them. I don't know why but they all just seemed like they needed a name. So they each come with a name and a cute tooth fairy poem I found on Pinterest.

There is a little pocket on the inside of the big tooth to put an actual tooth for the tooth fairy

And look, they all fit into my son's giant shoe box! Although I think Timmy is sold if the gal comes to pick him up (she did!). Selling off my little children haha. If I don't sell them all (one can only hope) I'll put them up on my Etsy site.

So now I am going to start a new project. I think I'm going to make some little Easter Bunny bags. A mix of a couple I have seen on Pinterest (of course!)

Madness I Tell You

Well as usual I have tons to blog about but I haven't done it!

But I feel like I need to come write a few things down so that some day if I want to come look back and my blogger account is still alive I can.

Saturday March 4th my step dad FINALLY went to the hospital because he hadn't been feeling right. The outcome? He has congestive heart failure, a huge 2-3cm clot in the bottom of his heart, and his kidneys and liver are failing.

So right there is a nice face slam into the pavement for our family. He spent a couple days in ICU and then they moved him to a regular room for a couple days and then sent him home on Thursday with a couple prescriptions. Crazy eh?

I spent the night with my mom Saturday night (after having a few OMG WTF drinks with my brothers) and Friday night I went over to hang out with mom and dad at their house. Right now they are just trying to get his coumadin at the right dose and he has a doctor appointment later this week (with a WORTHLESS Dr that he should have changed years ago). Next week he goes to the cardiologist.

Not to be outdone, Scott's dad appears to have had a small stroke this Saturday March 11th.  Not good, not good. He can't really get up by himself. My 77 pounds of mother in law is in no shape or form to help with any of that. Scott's sister is in and out, mostly out since she's taking care of her granddaughter during the week. His other sister who lives there can do some stuff but she's not mentally capable of doing things like everyone else.

I guess they called 911 but the "firemen" (mother in law says) took his vitals and he was fine? So they didn't take him to the ER or the Dr. I guess he has a Dr appointment tomorrow. My brother in law is supposed to be taking him so we'll see how that all goes.

Meanwhile life goes on with working full time and trying to get ready for the craft show this weekend. Yee haww.
