So my mom knew about all the little skirts I made and the vest for my nephew Vinnie and had asked me to make another one for Robert, my bonus nephew (he's my cousin's kid but nephew is easier)
Mom decided she'd be the one to accessorize the kids and got them some shirt and tights/pants to go with them. I picked up Robert for her on Friday (his mom lives by my work) and she got two of my nieces and had a little party with them.
So I made the skirts and headbands and the vest and bow tie. Aren't they just adorable?
I'm glad I didn't make the "small" vest size. I really debated on what size to make until I cut the pattern out and thought for sure that small was really small. This is the medium and he wears a size 6.
I'm kind of sad I wasn't there to see them on them but at least mom took pictures.
My mom has the outfits for the twins still, she's hoping maybe they will come over before Valentine's day. If not she will send them over for them.
And I just looked back and see I didn't actually post the skirts I made.
This one was for my friend Carolyn's granddaughter's 1st birthday. My friend Carolyn is a huge Hello Kitty fan and she is actually the reason why I started collecting some Hello Kitty fabric in the first place. (skirt pattern here)
Same pattern in a bigger size, this one is Adrian's
Emma's
Ava's skirt and headband
I made a bunch of scrappy headbands with the scraps from making the skirts (tutorial here)
I like this bow tie pattern better than the one that I made for Robert
This pattern is actually a girl's vest (shhhh don't tell). It's an old one. I'll have to come back and add the pattern later.
I sure had fun making them all :)

I LOVE those skirts and headbands!
Okay you sewing diva - I have a brunch with 2 women I have not seen in 11 years. We all worked together and now live in 3 different states. Can you make something for me in 12 days? :-) I don't know what the hell to wear.
I love the kids clothes and accessories! You are on a roll with the sewing. I laughed out loud when you said "why! why must you turn my pictures sideways?"! I have never had that problem happen to me.
