They started off by getting their nails done the night before the dance. I was going to just drop her off (some day she'll have a license..) but got sucked into hanging out with the other girls mom. We got a Starbucks and hung out on a bench outside the nail salon. She was talking politics and about how she voted for Trump. Ahhh I did a lot of silent nodding trying to be nice but eventually was like yeah so I'm not a republican and did not vote for him..
Her nails turned out really nice
The next day she met up with her friends at Ulta to get her hair and make up done. Again I was just going to drop her off. It's in the same shopping center as JoAnn's so I went and got a few things and then came back. It was kind of fun to watch them do her hair and make up so I hung out until she was finished.
One of the other mom's showed up and actually made them take off her daughter's lipstick and have them redo it because she looked "like a vampire". Pretty sure the girl was mortified. I was like geeze these girls are pretty much grown up and all going to be 18 soon. Helicopter much?
All done!
After they were done they left to get ready at her friends house and then I met up with them later at the park for pictures.
They decided to go to "city hall" to take pictures by the fountain. There was a few other people with the same idea.
I may have started crying after this picture. Oh Mom!
She looks like a giant next to me lol. She's 5'9" tall and then had those heels on.
Afterward they all squished into TrumpMom's little car. They went to dinner at a pizza place. They went to the dance and then went to In & Out afterwards. Fun time :)
