Welcome to old age.
So today, day 2 of being back on track. I took a ton of food to work today, and I almost ate it ALL. I ate everything I took but an orange. I left that on my desk for tomorrow I guess!
Breakfast: protein shake
an apple and almonds for a snack
For lunch I had the weight watchers veggie soup I made last night and left overs from dinner
Right after I got done eating they brought in all these left overs from a meeting they had today. Pulled pork with these huge rolls, potato salad, a broccoli salad type thing, BIG muffins and cookies. GAH!! I high tailed it back to my desk to get away from it all.
An hour later I was hungry so I ate my salad with a little bit of light ranch (that's my water in the Subway cup, I drank 4 of those today)
On the way home from work I finished listening to my audio book Play Dirty by Sandra Brown
When I got home from work I felt like I was STARVING so I made an egg white, onion, bell pepper, slice of ham and about 2 tbsp of cheese "frittata" that I didn't flip right. Oh and some salsa on top.
For dinner we had the Crock pot Chicken Tortilla Soup and I gave in and had one corn muffin.
Then I went to the gym and did the elliptical for half an hour. I tried to run on the treadmill but my knee hurts too bad. I did some rolling around on a foam roller and then called it a night.
But on the way home I had to stop and get gas and then I gave in to a TALL (never ever order talls) skinny peppermint mocha.
I drove home in some super thick fog. I really hope it's not going to be like that tomorrow morning, that makes for a stressful drive to work. On the way home today it was raining cats and dogs (first rain in months) and the road was all flooded. Add some fog to that and that sounds like a disaster.
Believe it or not that was only about 1900 calories worth of food. I felt like I ate all day. Now to drink a bottle of water and go to bed.
Gee aren't random hairs a joy?
