Um Yeah I Think I'll Pass On That..

They keep having all these races around where I live. I'm all for running races but these ones? Not my cup of tea. I mean really? What is appealing about this?

The guy looks like he's on his way to being killed. There MUST be someone behind him with a gun right?

There is another one that is a tomato fight! Well now I see that one is cancelled because people were complaining about wasting food.

Um ew? Do people really think that's fun? 

Sara recently did a mud run. She said "I was covered. It was in my hair, my ears, my nose, basically every crevice and hole in my body. And yes- I mean every hole." 

That really really doesn't make me want to do one. Even though she said it was fun and she'd do it again. 

Plus there is that whole "will the mud make me sick?" thing. I work in Ag. Like dairies? Do you know where all their poop water goes? It travels all around the farms in various ways. If you've ever been to a dairy I'm pretty sure you would NOT want to do a race through mud that may have been contaminated from their waste water. 

Although this article says you might not get sick.

I think I'll just take my chances with things like The Ugly Sweater Run that I signed up for last night. I think that's a little bit more my speed ;)
