This is really getting me down.
I mean, it's not like I can hide my face all day.
Hello! Don't look at me!! At lunch it took everything I had not to go inhale some donuts, chinese food, mexican and the pizza buffet. It's a good thing no one brought in a box of donuts because I would have been climbing in that box and having a pity party for one.
I did get Scott to bring home some pizza for dinner though. Mostly because 1.) who wants to cook when they are having a pity party and 2.) my friend came over to use our computer & printer. Much more fun to have pizza.
My friend brought over a bottle of wine and that helped a bit. I am going to skip my run because I just don't feel like going. I'll go tomorrow.
I told Scott we need groceries but I'm too embarrassed to go to the store. He said he'd go for me. That's love right there.
If you need me I'll be snuggled up with my animals reading a book. They don't care that my face looks like a punching bag.
ETA on a good note we got Trevor's blood test back today and he's just low on iron! They are going to prescribe him some iron pills and he should be good as new!
Hey, you walked to the bar - you didn't pull a reese witherspoon and drive. Good for you. You didn't break anything - damn good for you. Your husband was a hero and walked/carried you home and got you to bed. Good for you. You ran 12 miles the next day!! AMAZING YOU ARE!!
ReplyDeleteHey - No reason to be embarressed. You had fun. Better than you showing up with this because a bad husband hit you. Think of the stories you could make up to tell people. :-)
aw - heck! Enjoy that pity party! In a few days your face will be back to normal and you will be goin full speed ahead again!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear all is well with Trevor!
ReplyDeleteYour face will be back to normal in no time. Don't be embarrassed though...it could happen to anybody. You were having a good time!
I just can't believe that you ran the next day. I am starting to think you are a machine....superwoman!!
