Yesterday after work I went to the grocery store. The first thing you see when you walk in is the produce and a big display of cantaloupe.
Dirty cantaloupe.
And it wasn't just that one. Most of them had mud on them.
Is it just me or do things like this just shock you?
What happened to the days when stores actually tried to make a nice presentation? Granted this is a "cheaper" grocery store where you bag your own groceries. Apparently that's also some kind of code for "you're stuff can look like crap".
I wish I could afford to shop at a higher end grocery store but since I can't should that mean that I'm not worth them at least cleaning the mud off the food before they try to sell it to me?
It's like they don't even attempt to have any pride in their store.

lol! Yes, I shop at a cheap store and suffer some of these same things! But I will do almost anything for a deal! At least you can wash it off and don't eat the skin! :)
Yeah that's not nice at all.
Perhaps a little note dropped in a suggestion box or at the front counter saying how ikkkk it is to buy 'dirty' food is worth it?
