This, by far, was my favorite
It's a solar oven. You can tell that he spent a lot of time on it. It didn't look too perfect like a parent made it. His little essay type thing was hilarious, talking about how his parents never let him cook and OMG he's like 12 he's not going to burn himself. But now, with his solar oven he can cook all by himself. Look he even cooked himself a hot dog!
The worst one this year? Some boxes spray painted black and a typed sheet of paper that goes on about how we need to make our buildings earthquake proof or we are all going to die or some such business. Just the way it was worded it was disturbing. I'm pretty sure that's going to be a future psycho.
The disturbing trend this year? Things printed directly off the internet and stuck on the board. Um yea. At least copy and paste it into word so it looks original!
Did you do the science fair when you were a kid? What was your project and how did you do?
I hated science and I remember having to do one but I think I blocked it out because I have no recollection of what it was. obviously it wasn't good or I would remember wouldn't I?

I remember doing one on cotton. I picked some cotton while visiting relatives in Missouri to put on the board. I remember stressing about it and it not being much fun.

I never did Science Fair as a kid... I just wasn't into it at all.

ReplyDeleteOh man, I remember HATING science projects. I did them before the internet was around when you had to go to the library and look things up in those things called encyclopedias. (o: I never liked doing them though - the most fun part was making my set up pretty with markers and stickers. Science was SO not my thing!
