Sadness and Shopping

So today was an interesting day. Went to work and then left shortly after to go to the funeral of a co-worker that lost his 2 1/2  year battle with cancer. It was really sad since he was still young and has 4 children, 2 just out of high school and 2 still in elementry school. The youngest is a boy, all the others girls. His little boy was like his shadow before he got sick. I always thought of them when I heard this song, and wouldn't you know it was the first song they played during the service. Of course I was toast after that.

It was a really nice service and we went to the cemetery afterwards. After that we went back to work and when I went in the bathroom I realized that my zipper was down. The last time I had went to the bathroom before that was at the church before the service started so my zipper was down the whole time. I'm really hoping it wasn't gaping too much since I had hot pink panties on!

After that we headed to lunch and when we got back it was time for me to go home so I didn't even bother going back inside.

When I got home we went to town. Dropped Trevor off to hang out with my in laws, and the girls and I went to the mall. Jess needed some new pants for camp and a few other things. Like a bra. I ended up taking her down to Victoria's Secret to get measured. Since I was there I had them measure me too. We are almost the same size but she is one cup bigger. Sad lol.  I don't know how much money we spent, I'm scared to total it up!

Three pairs of jeans at Ross were around $45
Target $20 something
Claire's $25
Victoria's Secret $45
Book Store for required summer reading $35

Ahh only $170, guess it could have been worse!

  1. That was a nice song to play at the funeral service. My sister-in-law had "I'm Already There" played when her husband died.

The money? It never ends with kids in the summer, does it? Mine last graduated high school and got a part-time job. I thought it would get better. Not really.

  2. Hot panties! At least you would have made someone smile on a very sad day. That would've been memorable, who knows, maybe you did!

I see young teenage girls with bigger boobies than me all the time. WTF! What are they eating to get busty? I want some of it too!! Sad.
