Do you write in cursive?

Today I was addressing some envelopes at work. Which got me thinking. I hardly ever write anything anymore. The only thing I ever really write out is my signature, and I've shortened that on everything but my checks, which I also hardly ever write anymore!

Remeber how your Grandma used to write and it looked almost like everyone else's Grandma's writing? I think the fine art of cursive has gone by the wayside. It's kind of sad but it sure is faster to type things out isn't it!

Here's an interesting article. Cursive Writing: A Fading Skill

  1. My grandmother ONLY wrote in cursive. I still hand write my grocery lists and thank you cards and that sort of thing I have a weird cross between print and cursive I kinda switch back and forth usually mid word LOL

  2. My mom almost always writes only in cursive...and she is addicted to writing with pencils! (so everything gets smeary after awhile. Yuck!)

I find that I almost always print too. However reading some of my old notes and journals---I have a weird tendency to flow in/out of printing and writing in cursive. What's up with that?! I will only use gel pens too...no ballpoint.
