First Dateaversary

Today is the anniversary of my first date with my husband. It was also the first day I met him! My Dad fixed us up on a blind date. Husband and Dad worked together at the time. He came and picked me up and brought me a red rose (so nice!). Then we went to Sizzler and after that we went to see Far & Away. Aren't we cute! You can tell what decade it is by his glasses on his head and his pants, not to mention my curly hair.

    How stinking cute! And you actually took a pic on your first date! You look like a baby! But so did I back in the day when I met my hubby too!

    Happy dataversary! You are cute! Thanks for visiting my blog and for your kind comments! I love that you love Anne of Green Gables! It really is my all-time favorite movie (I admit I'm biased because I share her name!) Although she is a fictional character and the setting is so many years ago, I feel as if I can really relate to her, I'm a lot like her! Glad to get to know a kindred spirit!
