I always tell Melissa she was my little Buddha baby. She was 9 pounds, 5 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. She was a planned C-Section, since I didn't want a repeat of last time. This is my favorite picture from after she was born even though her umbilical cord was so long. The Dr. did it in a hurry so she could show me the baby faster. They trimmed it up a bit later.
The poor kid was born in the same month as her sister, although at opposite ends. So we always end up having a combined family party, usually on Easter.
Here she was in the "dog" phase. We watched 101 Dalmatians 101 times a day. She would only wear clothes that had dogs and MAYBE cats on them.
Oh look, seems she's still in the dog phase (that sure lasted a long time!)
It really is hard to believe how quickly the years go by.
One day they are born, then they are old enough for school.
They start getting permanent teeth which makes them look so much older. It's like the baby falls out along with the teeth.
Melissa is my "social butterfly". She makes friends really easily.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Little Chick! Hope you have a really neat birthday.
ReplyDeleteI love the photo montage! She really has started looking more grown up this year. She'll be a lovely teen soon enough. Wish her a happy birthday for me! Hope she has a great day!
ReplyDeleteWow! She's a cutie! Happy Birthday to her!
ReplyDeleteWhere does the time go anyway? :o)

ReplyDeleteWow she grew fast, might be because I scrolled through her life with my mousewheel and poof, she's all grown up. I can't find girl clothes with dogs on them, my girls wear boy clothes to get their puppy wearing fix.
ReplyDeleteWOW..she was a chubby baby.
