I'm a sponge

I feel like a sponge the last few days. Just laying around. Occassionally swiping at a few things here and there to clean them up but just sitting there for the most part.

I did get all the pictures scanned last night! wooohoo. Today I went to Michael's while I was out running errands and picked up a photo album to put the pictures in. I need to go pick up one more next time I'm out since I filled it up. It felt so great to get them out of this old shoe box!

My Mom is planning on giving all the originals to her Uncle (I think she should just give him a CD and let him print out what he would like). But I figured I'd put them in a book for now. I am also planning on printing out all the pictures so I was thinking I'll put the printed out picture with the original. The originals almost all have writing on the backs saying what they are and of course the printed pictures don't have that so that will have to be done also. I'm going to leave that for my mom to do unless I can figure out an easy way to add it to the pictures. I tried with one photo program I have and it wasn't coming out right so I need to try the other one I have I guess!

So other than going to Costco today and Petsmart to get more expensive dog food (seriously contemplated if I really needed to buy the good stuff for her today!) I finished reading one book and started reading another.

I finished reading

Which is about as far away from being "deep" as you can get. I just plucked it up off the library shelf last week. Judging a book by it's cover and all that.

Now I am reading

The beginning was so rivoting I couldn't put it down. I had to get up to tuck Trevor into bed and got on here for a few minutes which is now at least an hour. Love how that happens (not)! I'm reading it for bookclub. I probably should have waited to read it since we aren't meeting again until the end of January and I'll probably forget all the important stuff by then!

Due to the huge amounts of Anonymous spam comments I'm going to try the verification for a bit. Sorry, I know it's annoying!
