Currently I'm reading It's a sequel to another book which I know I read because really that title just screams naughty little book! I know it wasn't what I was expecting though. I DO remember that much about it, but that's about it! I keep thinking "WHY DO I NOT REMEMBER THIS?? Sucks getting old!
Last week I finished reading
Which I'm not sure where I got that title from to add to my library holds list. I made myself finish it and it was an "ok" book. Didn't quite know what to think of the whole gay male hooking up that he writes about in there (about himself). I don't have any gay friends so that was all a little TMI for me! I did feel kind of sad for his dad though. I can't imagine my father in law, who is about the same age, even ATTEMPTING to date. I can really hardly even imagine him doing ANYTHING other than his usually CNN watching and annoying my mother in law lol.
Last week I ALSO finished reading this book for the book club meeting. Thank God they extended it a week because otherwise I wouldn't have finished it in time.
Milk Glass Moon is actually the 3rd book in the Big Stone Gap Series, which the gal that picked the book didn't realize. I had requested all the books in the series from the library and accidentally read the FOURTH book first. I didn't really like the 4th book so thought I wouldn't like this one either but it was pretty good. I can see myself and my mom and myself and Jessica in the mother daughter relationship that she explores in the book.
The next book that someone picked for bookclub is which I will start as soon as I finish Certain Girls. It looks really good and I'm pretty sure I saw a preview to the movie once when I went to the theater but I haven't seen the actual movie. Might be fun to rent it after we are done with the book.Pin It

I've always wanted to join a book club ~ just never had the opportunity. Have you read "Like Water for Chocolate?" One of the best books ever!
The good thing about a bad memory (like mine) is I can read a book more than once and enjoy it as new each time! LOL
I have always thought it would be fun to join a book club too, but there aren't any around here to join.
A good book, meant for younger readers, but still good for adults, is Princess Academy. I just finished it and really liked it. :)
Okay, so which one should I read first? I am all out of good books and need some suggestions.
sounds like you've been doing alot of good reading, I just finished the Benni Harper mysterys. They were pretty good.
I haven't read ANY books in a long time. The last time I read a book, I was in school studying to be a PTA. Those medical books were enough to turn me off of books for a while. Soon, I will pick up reading again.
P.S. I just can't leave my youngest at soccer practice. I can't leave any of my kids anywhere. I am a paranoid mommy and will prefer peace of mind being right there with the kids than leave and constantly worry. Also, I don't drink coffee so that wouldn't even help me...lol.
