Just finished cleaning up Trevor's and Melissa's room. Ugh. It was such a pigstye. It's the first thing you seem when you open the front door so I figured it was about time to put on my safety goggles and get in there and clean it up. When it gets that bad I can't even send the kids in to do it because they don't know where to start. I'm going to try and really stay on them to keep it cleaned up!
Before I did that I cleaned up the living room which I have been cleaning pretty religously but I must have missed a day or two because holy crap they had a mess going in here. The house is all pretty much pick up now except of course for the crap in my bedroom that just never.seems.to.go.away. I'm going to work on that tomorrow.
My mom went and saw my aunt. I guess they have her on morphine so she was kind of out of it. She said that she doubts she will remember anything they talked about later. My mom actually talked to her father which I cannot remember the last time she did that. She said he was actually carrying on a conversation with her. Amazing!
Ugh, housework! I am waiting for the weekend when Ned goes to his dad's before I tackle my pigsty. I can't stand to look at it but I can't stand to clean it even more!!
ReplyDeleteI need to do some serious cleaning of Little Billy's room - UGH!
ReplyDeleteHave a good Tuesday - see you soon - Kellan
It is sad that it takes a potential tragedy (loss of family member) to bring everyone together. Housework... ugh, I am constantly doing it.... friggin kids ... they are the pitts.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I spent all day Sunday cleaning my sons room and had every stitch of clothing cleaned, folded and put away. Now it is a mess again (not completely his fault, he had a house guest for 2 days) and as of yesterday had gone thru ALL HIS CLEAN SHORTS!
ReplyDeleteARGH!
